OK, I will, Thanks. So you can use the Apple X11 server with the Xfree86 installed by fink, and have it all work with geda?

Oh, right.

It may be called XDarwin or something, but there is still an X server
application that you have to run to use any X-based applications. I've
been using the Apple X11 server, though, so you may have to do a
little web searching for the answer.
