The Spice netlister is loaded with special cases, because the
Spice syntax is loaded with special cases.

That does it .. I guess the only sane thing to do is to make
the change. It really makes it easier to ignore the letter,
considering plugin conflicts.
It is really worse than it looks on the surface.
