   I could do the GL HID.  I wrote quite a bit of pre-OpenGL GL  
code.  It was fun and a lot easier than writing against Xlib or Xt.

   What I'd like to see (and what I'd actually write if the HID API  
gets documented at some point) is a ReGIS HID for use with  
VT240/330/340 graphics terminals.  That would be really, really neat.

   ZX wasn't that ill-fated, it was just damn slow.
