Well, it prevents me from promoting geda/pcb as standard EDA application 
here at the Inst. für Quantenoptik. Some users have no problem with 
running linux in a virtual machine, or even straight on the desktop. To 
others (the majority) this is a show-stopper. So they tend to prefer 
eagle if they need to do some small electronics project.
