Not doing it will keep it from becoming as successful as it could be.

I do that on a daily basis in hardware design. If we don't help the next 
generation grow up technologically, then who will? Yes, I do get asked 
why a transistor croaks when reverse Vbe exceed 5V but I politely 
explain that, every single time.
