Not a thread, but I think it's important that we keep our own
listing and not be dependent on someone else's (by definition
more limited) concept of what Linux applications are useful for
education.  While I respect the work OFSET is doing, I guarantee
that they don't list half of the applications that we do.

That would be the best way to proceed, I think--to see if we can
use some pre-existing code.  After all, what's free software
for, if not that?
