I don't want to sound harsh or impolite, i just want to reinject some
sense of reality in the *whole* mailing list. I feel like the same situation is coming back
again and again, we're discussing "features" which lead to nowhere, while "implementation"
always lacks. And we divert development effort in fruitless babbling and ranting.

What about a quota system?

why ?? i believe more in other constructive things like the idea's fitness ...

People are allowed to utter one new fresh idea for each module they implement or synthesize or improve.

in practice, those who *implement* do whatever they want
(for the simple reason that if someone doesn't like it,
then he'll have to modify it himself). But when a module is being implemented,
it certainly follows a preliminary discussion about the purpose, ways, and other details...

Not very practical I know... For this idea I have to implement sth... d4mn :>

now you start to understand ;-)

Finishing FC0 is the first and most important task. AFTER this we can all discuss what FC1 should look like.

i would like to implement something better on the f-cpu.seul.org site but i don't spend much time at home now (i spend most of my time in my electronics workshop, where no internet access is available). So a source management software is not going to be installed soon :-( Any help in this direction would be much apreciated. I could deal with PHP but the SQL base at seul.org seems in bad health.
