  Josh, we just hashed this out on another list.  Did you miss that?  
This message shocked me even more than Marvin's "to hell with everyone 
else, I run Linux, it's ok that future versions will only support 
Linux!".

  Howabout people who are running NEWER systems that just don't support 
the nonstandard extensions that some Linux systems do?
