It's not the lowlevel I like, just not a fan of most "framework" type libraries. For the games I'm considering networking, the traffic is so basic I haven't been worried of sending it straight to the socket.

Good to see so much support for twisted these days. I know it has come a long ways, a contrast to some of the earlier beta days.
